Meet The IPATS Team

The IPATS team are an expert and highly motivated group of doctors and nurses from within Children's Health Ireland who have undertaken additional training to bring their skills from the hospital to the ambulance environment.  Our Consultant doctors work in the fields of Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. They are supported by our critical care nurses who all have years of paediatric intensive care training before becoming eligible for the team.  

Core to our team are our non consultant hospital doctors who are senior trainees in Anaesthesiology and Paediatrics, many of whom are at 'Fellow' level and thus have a role in training, outreach and education along with supervising the team.

Finally, our National Ambulance Service Critical Care Technicians who hold very senior positions within NAS and have also received additional training to work with us.

We love our work and enjoy meeting teams around the country and working with them to deliver the right care to the right child at the right time!
